Passed by two ambulances on the way home.
Star gazing live then rugby stuff on the computer.

Tuesday 7th January

Work.
Anna went to see American Hustle in the evening.

Monday 6th January

Traffic back to normal in the morning. Gym at lunch then nipped to Tesco to get Ellis his Hudl.
Not too bad on way home,  came via Oldham for diesel from Tesco as I had a voucher.
Leftovers for tea. Made a pasta from the ham and cheese sauce.

Sunday 5th January

Bit of a lie in before we got up and prepared for everyone arriving. Only Jamie and Fee turned up. Ate, played xbox and some board games. Ellis was most impressed with Tilly's new Hudl and decided that is what he's going to spend his birthday money on. He wants a blue one.

Saturday 4th January

Anna took the kids to the cinema while I made chilli, butternut squash and sweet potato soup and Delia's spiced ham.
Bacon butties for lunch then off to laser ace for Ellis and Mason's joint party.
A couple of pints at the Lowerhouse. Then after laser ace we went for a look at the. Whiteheads new house before going to the Peels Arms for tea.
No room at the pub for us to eat as there was a private party on so we walked down to the Grapes. Nice burger.
Forced to drink shots with Gaz, Nick and John.
Back to the Whiteheads before we left about 11:30 to take Harry home.

Friday 3rd January

Woke Ellis up to open some pressies before I went to work.
Last quiet commute of the Xmas holiday. Came home and straight to the Hanging Gate for pizza. Home. Port. Bed.

Thursday 2nd January

Work this morning. The journey was still quiet. Most people must still be off for Xmas.

Gym at lunch. Cross trainer.

Called at Jean's on the way home to pick up Ellis' present. On the way up to Diggle was held up in Uppermill due to a crash at the Carr Lane junction. A Corsa and a van had a coming together. Called in at Tony & Margaret's to set up their new router. Then home for left over cheese and onion pie.

Bought Minecraft but it doesn't work with our graphics card and windows 8.1, bag of shite.

Wednesday 1st January

Woke up at about 11am with a slight hangover and a cold after last night's antics as the only person in fancy dress.

Walked down to collect the car via a coffee at Java. Martin texted to see if I was going for a pint. Replied in the negative as feeling slightly rough!

Saw Gilly in the square. He also asked if I fancied a pint. Declined that too.

Tea at Tony & Margaret's (Hairy Bikers Stuffed pork). Then a game of Scatergories.
